International Space Station: History, Infrastructure, live location, Inside lifestyle Of Astronauts And Facts

International Space Staton
International space station have constructed for collection of data about the environment of space. Generally it is a artificially habitable satellite where only 6 crew members have been staying at a time. space station is the largest research laboratory in the world. It is situated in lower orbit of the earth. International space station (ISS) is the multinational project and the contributed five countries are USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and Russia. This space station's modules made by NASA, ESA, JAXA, CSA and ROSCOSMOS.

History Of International Space Station
Since international space station is a multination project so it's parts are manufactured from many countries from over world. It's first modules made in 1990 in USA. The first module of the ISS launched on 20 November in 1998 by an autonomous russian proton rocket. The first module name was Zarya. International space station construction have continued from 1998 to 2011. Communication technology have developed by Canadian Space Agency.

After assembling of all modules of ISS, Astronomer Bill Shepherd and Cosmonauts Yuri Gidzenko and Sergeii Krikalev are became the first crew members of ISS. The first crew arrived mission name was Expedition 1 and Soyuz TM-31 is the first arrival spaceship to international space station. Till now 236 individuals crew from 18 countries have visited the international space station.

Live Location Of International Space Station
The international space station is situated at the lower orbit of the earth which altitude is about 400 km above the earth. The speed of space station is about 28,500 km Per hour. The space station have completed 16 orbit around the earth in 24 hours. It can be seen from earth with naked eyes at the night sky. If you want to see the international space station from your home, you need to know the exact location of the ISS at this time, so could use the official application of NASA.

Infrastructure Of The International Space Station
The international space station is totally powered by solar energy which is generated by the 8 solar arrays. The total area of solar array is about 27,000 square km which is built up with 262,400 solar cells. The total area of the ISS is about 2500 square metres which is equivalent to the total area of two Boeing 747 airbus. It includes 4 laboratory modules from the United States of America, Japan, Russia and Europe.

There are three robotics arm are present which are used to build up the space station, astronauts space walk and other science experiments. There are 6 urine tube and 2 toilets are available in ISS.

Most of the ISS's oxygen will produce from the electrolysing of water. During electrolysing of water it breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen atoms are used for making of sugar and oxygen is released into the atmosphere of ISS which use in respiration.

Scientist have researched, what could happen with human body when people are living in microgravity for a long time and currently astronauts is working on finding a new habitable planet where human could stay there.

Astronauts Lifestyle Inside International Space Station
There are micro gravity is available in the international space station so astronauts daily activities are too much different than who lives on the earth.

Astronauts wash their hair with a "rinseless shampoo" , this shampoo are specially developed for those person who are unable to take a shower. Astronauts are used this rinseless shampoo because there was limited water which used only for drinks. During toilet astronauts are used toilet papers and their waste materials are stored into commode which suck by the vaccum cleaner.

Astronauts are taken meals for three times in every day which are breakfast, lunch and dinner. According to the health advisors of NASA they recommend that every young lady need 1900 calories and a young man needs 3200 calories in a single day.

Due to micro gravity astronauts are weightless so they are floating everywhere inside space station. They sleep in a individuals sleeping bags which located in small crew cabine. The crew members of ISS have taken 8 hours of sleep in every 24 hours.

Astronauts Pee is stored in a individuals urinal tube and after sometime this urine use in electrolysis.

Astronauts are spending their free time by looking the earth through the windows of ISS. Most of astronauts who works full time in a week they got a holiday in every week. They also spent their time by watching movies, reading books, audio listing, TV show watching, play cards and talk with their families.
